About the role
Durecon develops and produces cleaning and surface-protection products. To do that, we buy raw materials, packaging and labels from suppliers in the Netherlands and abroad, and plan production and delivery. As a purchasing and supply chain intern, you help that chain run better. You take part in day-to-day purchasing and stock management, and also take on your own improvement project, such as a supplier comparison or a better way to plan stock. The internship runs for 5 to 6 months, 4 to 5 days a week, starting in February 2027 or by arrangement. The working language is mainly Dutch.
What you will do
- Helping purchase raw materials, packaging and labels
- Keeping track of stock and flagging when to reorder
- Comparing suppliers on price, lead time and reliability
- Monitoring delivery times and following up orders
- Analysing purchasing and stock processes and proposing improvements
- Carrying out your own internship project and presenting your findings
What you bring
- You are studying logistics, supply chain management, purchasing or similar at mbo 4 or hbo level
- You work accurately and like to keep an overview
- You are comfortable with Excel
- The working language is mainly Dutch. You speak Dutch and good English
